Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a Navy wife and mama-to-be to a little boy due on October 14. I met Jesus a long time ago, but fell in love with him my freshman year of college when I realized just how sweetly and completely He loves me. I married my husband, Andrew, in 2008 and when I say he's my best friend, it's not just because of that whole "we are one" thing but because he really is my best, best friend. After six months of marriage, Andrew was laid off and after a long year of searching and praying and being pretty confused about where we were headed, he ended up with his dream job in the Navy. God's good like that. Now we're living in beautiful Charleston, SC until they move us elsewhere in December. Knowing that all of this has been orchestrated by God and is completely in His control has been the best, most precious lesson in trust and faith that I've ever experienced. And I'm so thankful for that.

Tell us a little about your blog and shop!
I started blogging for the same reasons a lot of people do - I wanted to document our life as newlyweds and keep in touch with our friends in family. But over the years, it's become such a gift. I've always loved to write and having this outlet to has been awesome. I love sharing funny/random stories or working through things on my heart and knowing that I'm tapping into something that God put in me when He created me. It's amazing. I opened my shop when we got to Charleston and I was looking for ways to fill the time while Andrew was gone. To me, there's nothing sweeter than getting a handwritten note and I just love the idea of giving someone something pretty to use to pass on a kind word.

What has surprised you most about this life?
I think I've been most surprised by how good God is. It seems silly to even say that, but every time I see His provision, His love, His patience, His sweetness towards me or someone else - it kind of takes my breath away. And honestly, I hope I'm always surprised by that because I really don't ever want to take it for granted.

What are you passionate about?
What keeps you up at night?
This is totally cliche, but my kids - the one on the way and the others I hope to fill our house with. I think it's so awesome that God would let Andrew and me raise one of His own. We always say that our kids are His before they are ours and I just want to make sure that everything I do as a parent points them back to a Father who loves them more than I ever could. And I kind of don't want to mess that up :)

What's your favorite item in your shop right now?
Probably the Yellow Songbird notecards, because they're just so sweet and simple. Who wouldn't want to find some words of encouragement written on that in their mailbox?

Thank you Page!
