sweet Lauren from Seek First

Hey ya'll!
So excited to introduce you to one of
my sweet sponsors, Lauren from Seek First

Tell us about your shop!
My shop is a wonderful creative outlet for me.  It is a place where I want to create beautiful things, using the talent the Lord has given.  I want to bless women with an accessory that is affordable for them.

What led you to open your shop?
I started my etsy shop as a creative outlet to cancer research.  It started as a dream, a thought.  I wondered if I could, how it would go.  And then, the day came that instead of wondering IF, I just opened it.  It wasn't grand.  It had one item for a long time.  But it has grown and changed.  I have learned a lot and still have a long way to go!  Now my shop is the way that I am  helping to pay for nursing school.

What has surprised you most in this life?
I have been most surprised by my own selfishness.  The deeper I fall in love with Christ and with my husband, the more clearly I see my own self and the pride and self righteousness I have.  I want to live a life empty of myself and full of grace.  It's a daily battle, but I am thankful for the provision and daily grace of the Lord in leading me away from myself.
What are you favorite items in your shop right now?
My favorite items (and the ones I wear the most) right now are the mustard yellow headband and the trio of grey, white, and yellow necklace. They are both so easy and fun to wear!

What are you most looking forward to in the next year?
This next year holds so much for my husband and me.  I am looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary in December, starting nursing school next summer, and seeing where life takes us!

Thank you Lauren, for sharing your shop with us!
Also, you should definitely follow Seek First on twitter as they have a HEARTSY deal coming out on Monday that will allow you to get a $21 shop credit for $9! So follow along on twitter so you don't miss it!
