this is how we brew it || meet Jessica

One of my favorite parts of blogging is showing off other creative online ladies to my friends. Meet Jessica! 

1. Jessica, tell us a little about your life. 

Hello! I'm 31 years old, grew up & live in small town Ohio & have been married to my high school sweet heart for almost 10 years! I am mommy to Brooklyn (6), Lofton (5) & Lucy (2).  I am truly living my dream. I am a Lover of Jesus + Saved by Grace. I am a Coffee addict, vintage lover, small town girl, forever in search of the perfect book, pair of jeans, lip gloss & caramel latte.

2. What made you decide to start your shop & what's your favorite thing about it? 

My business began in early 2010 & I know it sounds cliche, but I have always loved creating things. A few years ago when I discovered hand stamping, I muttered my famous "I can do that" line and started to teach myself. What started out as a hobby, making things for friends and family, quickly became something more. Now, being able to say that I turned my hobby into a successful business, is truly a dream come true. I am blessed & humbled to be able to say that my work has been featured on dozens of websites & in several magazines!

My favorite thing is that everything I create can be customized. I love creating things for people that are totally personal & special to them.  I love most the incredible blessing my business is for me and my family. I never imagined it would become what it has. God has really made my dreams a reality!

3. If you could share one message with other women what would it be? 

Something that I want to teach my daughters, which I would also love to share with other women is that God has a plan for their life.  I want them to understand that it is unpopular to lead a pure (notice I did not say perfect) life, but that it will be so worth it. That God treasures them & loves them & that they should live for Him, and not anyone else. It is something that is heavy on my heart. 

4. Where do you find every day inspiration? 

Music has always been a big source of inspiration in my life. I grew up with my mom playing music all the time.  I love all genres of music & I love how music can completely inspire new things or ideas, change my mood instantly & take me back to different times in my life. There is always music playing in my studio!
