Since I first met them last year, I've been really encouraged and blessed by the folks over at The Mocha Club. Hayley and I drove to Nashville last year for an Influence meeting with Barrett and Marisa and I had no idea what to expect. What I found was a group of people who were ignited and united by a mission to actually help, to equip people right where they were and help them see how they could make a difference in places far away to people they'd never met. But I also met people who had been changed by Africa, whose faces lit up when they spoke of it instead of becoming somber and depressed. I met people who seemed to truly understand that possessions in our hands will never be as valuable as peace in our hearts.
Mocha Club is officially their "I Need Africa" 2.0 campaign today and I'd love if you'd take a few minutes and check out how you can get involved. Here's how:
- Head over to The Mocha Club site and look through what they're doing. They have five ongoing projects that you can contribute to: clean water, orphan care, health care, economic freedom for vulnerable women, and education. You can give as little as $9 a month and make a huge difference.
- Go to their store to purchase some beautiful merchandise that helps fund their projects. OR if you sign up for The Mocha Club, you can pick from their #INeedAfrica pocket tee or scarf just for joining.
You won't be bummed you did.
Hope you guys have an amazing Tuesday!
psssst: Here's my #INeedAfrica pocket tee.
I wear it approximately 2.3 days a week.
