seriously, who has been holding out on me?!

I know I should have figured this out on my own, but I didn't.

Why haven't you all told me about kid tv? It's the greatest stuff around. Of course Elias doesn't give a rip about The View when I have it on in the background while he is playing, but throw on Nick Jr. and he is ENTHRALLED. I guess Kelly kind of gave me a hint, here, but it takes me a while to catch on. Seriously - I've been missing out.

Right now we're tuned into The Backyardigans and I think we've found a new morning routine to let mommy do some laundry, having a quiet time, and not be so exhausted while sis has her first nap. Thank you Jesus for kid tv.

Ooooooooh, do you have Disney? You need to check out the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, if you do! At the very end they play the coolest song ever. The Hot Dog Song. You'll love it, as will Elias and Glory! Possibly even Nick!

If my son turns into JT or Gloriana into Britney...It is all Amy's fault.

Just kidding.

I'm glad I'm not the only mommy that depends on TV to get stuff done. I thought I was encouraging my boys to be couch potatoes, looks like I'm just normal. We didn't have cable in the States so we enjoyed PBS. Kirby loved Curious George and Clifford. Oh how I miss PBS.

Go Noggin! it's awesome. quality design and programming. Huge in my life when Christian wakes up early, and Mommy hasn't finished her quiet time. :)

it actually still confusing to me how little the girls care about big people tv and how obsessed they are with kid tv. so weird!! marketers really know their viewers. yeah we have a segment a day that mama puts on for the girls but i have yet to see the backyardians...but we only have basic cable so i've been stuck with dumpy dragon tales. :(

ok, so haven't you been paying attention to my Saturday morning couch time secret? It's not really the blankets or the fruit loops but the dvr'd episodes of zoombafoom:)

Nick,

This is totally different Mickey Mouse Club than we were used to in the 80's. It's all animated now and it does the annoying ask a question and pause thing A LOT. I guess that's good for the kiddos... although Wes has never answered. He just stares. Here you go, turn your sound up and get ready to DANCE. I know you're gonna.

Giirrrl, i can't beleive you've gotten this far without it! lol. If you have dish network, they have this channel called "Baby First TV" and it's all 10 min snippets of crazy baby animations that I seriously think hypnotizes babies. It's the only way I can get a shower in ever day!
