help my forehead.

A few months ago, I tried to grow my bangs out because, well - I just needed a haircut and didn't know what to do with them.
Now that they're pretty grown out, I still don't know what to do with that flop of hair so it just lives in a bobby pin all the time.
(also, excuse the crazy eyes)

So, bangs need to come again.
But WHAT KIND? There are so many varieties.
please vote, ok? I'll actually care what you say - promise.

Choice A: semi safe, thinner, with a definitive part.

Choice B: messy and thick, maybe a little too edgy?

Choice C: what I would do if I was really brave.
But what do you do when you workout?

Choice D: supersafe & what I had for most of college.

Choice E: because I couldn't help myself.

Hurry, my forehead needs you! Dress her! And, I'm running out of bobby pins.

I like what's safe - A or D though I could see B working... Do not do C - your hair is too think and beautiful! I would guess you would regret it - if you want my opinion ;)

I say B! You can totally pull it off, your hair is already thick and amazing! Go For It! If I had hair like yours I would!

If you are too scared of B then I say A.
E would be pretty hilariously awesome though...just saying

I have A, but think you could go with B or C. For the workout, just wear a hat. Then you don't have to worry about bangs or any hair in your face for that matter.

B! If my hair was as thick and luscious as yours I would be allllll over those edgy bangs. Dang cowlick ruins everything...

b! totally b. it's a great bang for thick hair, which you assuredly have, though i've not felt it yet :) i think you look great in a side part, and although ms. cruz looks adorable, that bang (c) is not a side part bang. b's cut AND bang are killer. don't go safe...safe is boring ;)

Love A.... love it a lot. So dreamy and romantic...

A mix between A and B - a little more streamlined but a thick chunk of hair so your bangs have impact.

If you go with shorter bangs, get those thin little headbands to keep your bangs off your forehead while in a pony. I wear them at the gym all the time because I HATE hair on my face while I work out!

here's what i think.

b. is great, but--those are the kind of bangs that i'm currently growing out right now. and they're kind of a pain. if they dry even a little wrong, it jacks you up. and if there's even a slight gust of wind, they can look feathered and..not awesome. (our hair couldn't be more different though, so who knows).

a. i think that this one is the cutest bang that grows out well, if you're not able to maintain them very often. they also look good even if you don't wash your hair too often. a little oil does 'em good.

also, for working out with bangs, i'd use a bobby pin and pin them back, and also, get some good dry shampoo, then you can reeeeally go forever without washing it, if you want:)

emailing you back today. finally. LOVE.

Totally messy and thick because it could also easily be what you had all through college with different styling. Your hair has the perfect body and texture for the awesome messy bang! In fact, I always covet that hair of yours and wish I could rock those messy bangs with wavy hair. ;) Grass is always greener I guess. Love ya, Jessi, you'll look amazing whatever you pick. FYI, only Penelope Cruz looks good with those little bangs, but she would look great with a bag on her head! lol

Here is what I think should happen. Cut all your hair off...then spend tons of money to get goofy looking extensions...then hire a hair stylist to travel around with you to maintain them while you tour like a 'rock star'.

Def. B for me.

gotta weigh in here because i'm having the same thoughts. I've been growing out a B all year and living in a bobby pin...B is the kind of bang that looks sexy awesome on good days, dorky on normal days (well, for me and my limpy hair, your is much more lux) so you end up in a bobby pin a lot.

So i think i'm on board with A...easy breezy beautiful.

I think you have a good forehead, but I do the same bobby pin reliance and it's no good!
For you, B. It would be dazzling on you. Take advantage of the goods God gave you and chop that mop into a B!

I like A or a toned down B

I vote for A! I think the lighter, eyebrow bang sort of off to the side would bring out your eyes!

I'm currently sporting "B" myself so it gets my vote! I thought it would be super high maintenance but it has been the easiest of any bangs I've ever had. My first day or two after a shampoo they're a little unruly, but I use a curling iron to flip just the very tip of ends under, spray them like crazy, pin them over for an hour or so while they dry and then I'm usually good.

Also I trim mine every 2-3 weeks. I take of just a little tiny bit each time, but that way I can still really see the shape my stylist gave them. If you wait too long between trims then you're back at square one and need a professional. Just ask your stylist to show you how to trim them (cutting upward, not sideways).

I like A (cause that is what I have) but you can always start at A and end at B :)

i actually only have one opinion - do what is scariest but what you really want to do. that sounds like C by what you yourself said. your hair can't get messed up. it's not my vote - i think it's yours. and look at all these A, B votes that will throw you off. i'm thinking do what jessi wants most!!! you're only getting closer to 30!!!!! (ha ha ha. just kidding.)

b!
i saw 500 days of summer and totally want thick, 60s mod bangs a la zooey deschanel...but i'm scared! bangs and me haven't fared well together in the past, but think i just need thicker ones that will stay put more...and to prohibit my sister/myself from cutting them ourselves)

I like A. It would be totally easy and low maintenance. But B is REALLY cute. If you get down the styling I think it could also be low maintenance. It's just a matter of how you hair does after being slept on and then not washed. When I have short pieces I wake up with some funky looking issues.

Can't wait to see!
