amazing grace || glimpses of mother's day

When I take in our little family, when I look at them as a whole - one word comes back over and over and over again. Grace. A gift I don't deserve. The Lord gifting me, us, with one another. Husband gifting wife and wife gifting husband. Kids gifting mamas and vice versa of course. I see Grace propelled by the Father. And I am so grateful. I hope y'all had a fantastic Mother's Day weekend.
Here are some glimpses of ours.

this guy. this smiley sweet, lovely, cuddly little guy. I spend the first 20 or so minutes of my morning in bed,
with him propped up like this - cooing and chatting away.
We end most days piled in Benj's single bed together. All six of us.
Even though I haven't run more than two miles since having Cannon,
I woke up Saturday really wanting to run six.
Nick kept encouraging me to just do it and then he texted me the whole time I was gone.
Love that guy.
This handsome fella. Growing his beard for Gospel Community
Lately when it all feels like too much, we tumble out of the house and go on a short prayer walk.
When we look back, I think we'll see these days were crazy but prayer-filled.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.
