Meet Amy || A Giveaway!

One of my absolute favorite parts about blogging is sharing creative women + their businesses with my readers. Today, I get to introduce you (if you don't already know!) to Amy Cornwell. Amy is an artist + blogger who makes beautiful jewelry and she's answered a few questions for us to get to know her better! She's also giving away a $50 giftcard below! 

1. Amy, tell us a little about your life. 

I'm 33 years old, have been married for 11 years and have two children (age 7 and 4). I live in central Indiana and love to do anything creative. I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ when I was 10. I love inspiring, encouraging and uplifting people through my blog.

2. What made you decide to start your shop & what's your favorite thing about it? 

I started making jewelry in high school to raise money for Spring Break. After a hiatus, I decided to make jewelry as a hobby in 2003 and once I had my first at-home party I decided to make it official and start my business. In 2007 I started making stamped jewelry and it's taken off from there. In 2011 I quit my full time job to do the business full time. My favorite thing about the business is that I get to create items for people to cherish and celebrate milestones in their life.

3. If you could share one message with other women what would it be? 

To be authentic...that's one of the most important things to me. In friendships I look for authenticity and loyalty. I just think it's so important to be who you say you are and to be genuine. For women business owners my message would be to work hard, to not give up and to do what you enjoy because it will show in your products!

4. Where do you find every day inspiration? 

So many places...my family, nature, magazines, social media. I pull inspiration all around me. Sometimes it's simply having a blank canvas (in my case, a blank charm) that inspires me to create something beautiful.
