fashion friday, the REAL dilemma

So, it's been awhile - but I'm back.
These days I don't much have time for skirts or shoes, I've got a new house to get ready for.
(where will that house be? family update blog coming soon)

And this is the real question:
WHAT kind of bedding do I get
for Elias' new toddler bed?!

a) the semi-metro/semi-expensive bedding collection that I actually
like & would flow with the decor of the rest of the house? b) the slightly-understated/sort-of-retro cars ensemble
that could make his new big boy room whimsical & fun?

or c) the super-cheap thomas the train bedding that he would be OBSESSED
with & would make him thrilled to go to bed, while it would
make you upchuck in your mouth each time you saw it
because it is well, look at it. Those train faces creep me out.

If Dad says ok, I think I'm going to have to go with option c.
It will make me want to vomit, but it will make his short-little-toddler-life.

okay as much as i love love love a the truth is he is going to be out of that toddler bed before you know it and i guess you could save if for when Benjamin is a toddler but who knows what you will be feeling for him then. I say C, E will be happy and it will be gone before you know it. And if E decides to color all over it one day (like a few little toddlers i know have done) you won't be out all of that money!

I say go for cheapest, since he will love it. He is going to be out of that bed before you know it. Spend the money on the bigger one :)

I love A but I totally agree, Toddler Bed bedding is so short lived. B could be absolutely adorable but C will make him (if he's anything like my boys) oh so happy. I have to agree, the faces are creepy. Let me just say I'm glad my boys won't be coming over to play because Kirby would talk about Elias's bed non-stop for hours and Bennett may just try to walk out of your door with the comforter.

Can't wait to hear what's going on with your family.

definitely C. :) you can make the rest of the room cute & it's not THAT bad. plus, right, no need to spend a lot of money on it when there's the potential that he miiiight ruin it ;) love you!

well, Jessi, I asked my resident expert with recent experience as a toddler. He surprisingly went with B. He said, "yeah, dump trucks; cool." Christian also wanted to know what kind of room that bed was going in. He said "click on the rooms section, and we'll pick that part out too." silly
As to "A", Christian scrunched up his nose and said "ppshhh, I don't think so."

i am really loving that you are giving in to kids tv and thomas the train comforters. might exonerate all those tacky bedrooms you slept in over the years...:) thanks for keeping us updated, loved our chat today!

lol. thomas makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little bit too. but you kind of have to give in to those tacky things kids love once in a while, don't you. especially when they're cheapest! i do, however, draw the line with those sneakers that light up, however ;)

can i say however ONE more time?! geesh.

i say for c as well...i like the thomas train theme in your photo cause it's not too cliche.
you should get him one of those hilarious car beds! haha
